Our vineyard covers 14 hectares in Chateauneuf du Pape and is planted with vines of a ripe old age , the grape varieties being: Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Muscardin.




THE HARVESTING

The date of the harvesting is set for each parcel and grape variety in function of maximum ripeness and maturity in order to produce only the best quality wines.
The picking is done manually with a first selection in the vineyard.




CULTIVATION METHODS

During the winter, we take advantage of the dormant period to prune the vines. We prune in a particular way in order to produce quality grapes.
At this time, we replace dead vines and burn or grind the canes.




CARE OF THE VINES

In the Spring, debudding, ploughing and fertilising the soils.
Phytosanitary treatments to prevent attacks by parasites, insects and funghi.

The treatments used are environmentally friendly, following strict measures kept in a schedule of conditions and regularly checked to see if all is done properly. This method goes along with the reasonable and limited use of natural fertilisers and products in order to preserve Mother Nature , resulting in a natural quality product.
