Between Orange and Avignon, on the left bank of the Rhone River, the old Popes’ Casstle was built. Pilgrims,Crusaders, Templars, Huguenotts, Popes and Kings, as well as Thieves and Invaders have passed through this remarkable place.

The particularity of the land lies with its rounded pebbles which soak up the beneficial heat of the sun during the day and restore it to the vines at night. Thus our grapes reach maximum maturity with their characteristic robustness and powerful aromas.

The construction of the St. Paul Estate began in 1934. It was then bought by Charles Establet in 1958.

In the early 70’s, his daughter , Christiane Jeune and his son-in-law Pierre Elie Jeune bought the estate and enlargened it.

In 1980, the estate expanded by adding on a storage cellar for the wines. Then in the 1990’s a vinification cellar was added as well as a bottling system. The first bottle bearing the name of the St. Paul Estate was in 1998.

In 2002, a tasting room and a wine shop were created and early in the year 2004, their children Christophe and Isabelle took over the management and co-management of the estate endowing it with a vinification cellar with wooden vats, and big oak casks and kegs in the ageing cellar.,
